The Room

The door opens, a tall figure walks in, its a man wearing a shabby business suit and dark tan jacket. He stops short, goes back and pulls in a desk on wheels. He turns on a lamp, the room is small, the windowless walls covered in dust and mold. With in the center of the room, sits a man tied to a chair, he looks tattered and beaten, with duct tape over his mouth and a bloody blindfold over his eyes.

   The man in the chair is pale and scruffy looking, and sits as still as a corpse. The man looks at him for a second, then he opens the desk, revealing various tools, making his intentions clear. He pulls the man  closer to the light, he doesnt react. He pulls out a pair of black leather gloves from his pocket, putting them on one by one, slowly.

   He goes to the door, pulls in a chair which he sets in front of the man in the chair. He sits down, and removes his blindfold, the man begins to stir. He  lights a cigarette, he takes a long draft, holds it for several seconds, then releases it with a long whooshing sigh. the tied up man is still disoriented, the suited man points the light in the mans eyes, "You ready to talk?" the man says in a deep booming voice.

Dead By Midnight

   Dead By Midnight summary-

         This is the story, a sad story in fact, about a boy who is forced to become a man. His parents are killed, his sister taken, and his body and life changed forever. he will die within 7 days, and before his last breath, he will fight to save his sister and save his homeland from the dictator, Arashi(to be changed).

Intro-

  "My name is ki- its not important. if your hearing this, i am close to my death or alredy dead. one thing I will not do is die before I accomplish what 
   i came to do-save my sister-Junko-and kill Arashi. I hope it's the doc who finds this. Junko, im sorry i was'nt there to protect you."

   As I wrote this, I knew my long but short journey was coming to its end. I would tell myself constantly that i would do what i needed to do, but i let my doubts
   get the best of me. As i came closer and closer to my goal, I felt my body slowly shut down. If you want to know my story start reading, but, I must say its a sad
   story.

   "Hey Daichi, come play a game with me!", Junko would say to me. But as usual I shrugged her off and told her "maybe later" and she would just give me a sad look and say
    ok, then walk away. I should have payed more attention to her. Unlike my parents, I should have been there for her, but i was'nt. Their is no time to regret past
    mistakes, not now, not ever.

Day-1

    The day this all began.....

    This day started like any other, the sun shining, everyone was as happy as they possibly could be
     after Arashi took control of Saharie by force. "Hey, Daichi, come help me with this" Akihiro said.
     "One minute dear, he's helping me with the laundry" Sora said. "Well I'd rather be hanging out
      with my friends". "hush",Sora said as she hanged the clothing. "Well tell him to hurry, I could really
      use some help here." It was a normal day, people talked, children played, and the day was quiet as
      usual, but that night.....

      "Get out the dishes, Junko, and call your father and brother." Sora said. "okay." The telephone rings, "I'll get it!"
       Sora says.
      
        I hear Junko calling me. "what, is it time for dinner already?" I say aloud. "See you later guys" I say
        to my friends. As I'm running down the street, their is no more than a murmur, as if I am alone.
        Just as I reach for the door i hear a clatter and quick footsteps from inside.

        Sora answers the phone, "hello?", "may this be the former scientist, Sora Kimura?", "yes, this is
        Sora, but I remarried under a different name , may I ask who is calling?",...................................................
         Sora drops the phone and runs to tell Akihiro. Daichi steps in to the house. 'Daichi, Junko, come here quickly. They are all in the kitchen. "We have to pack clothing and food to eat quickly!" Sora
         says, looking nervous "whats going on?" "Daichi, hurry and start packing!" Akihiro says "whats going on?"   
         "Sora, get only the things we ne"- "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" Daichi shouts. Akihiro goes in to
          another room, and comes back with a large object wrapped in clothe, he unwraps it, it is a ak-47. "what
          is that for?" "for your protection" "from who?" Their is a long quiet,  Sora stammers out "Arashi " ..........................
        

           all Daichi can say is "what? "Arashi is coming for Junko." "why me?" she says tear-eyed. "because you are special."
          comes a voice from the open door. It is a mysterious woman wearing black. "who are you?!" Daichi shouts.
          "My name is Sayomi, and I am here to take the girl away." she says with a hint of darkness in her voice.
           "What if we say no?" Akihiro says, as he points the gun directly at her chest. "I'm sorry, but no is just not
            a choice in this matter. At the end of her sentence, a distant sound like a firecracker is heard. The gun falls
            from Akihiro hands as he slumps to the ground. Blood leaks from a single red dot on his forehead. Sora slumps
            to the floor "no no no no no no no." is all she says. "now, lets get going little girl" In a flash, Sora stands up, pulls
            out a pistol, and stands in front of  Junko. "You can't take Junko!" Sora says with rage. Daichi is frozen
            no mom, do'nt, is what he wants to say, but the words won't come. "I must ask you not to be stupid and hand over
            the child." "NO!!" she shouts. "fine have it your way, her hand flashes as she throws a army knife, which pierces Sora's
            heart. As she goes down, Sora shoots her in the leg. "damn you bitch!" Sayomi exclaims. at this, Daichi snaps awake
            runs to Junko, "lets go!!", "but bu-",she sputters, "we have to go!!". "Get back here", Sayomi says
            through gritted teeth as she struggles to stand up. Daichi and Junko burst through the back door running
            in to the night, running for what is left of their life.
